Levels of Industry
Participation:
Gold, Silver and Bronze
Gold
A company participating on the Gold level is expected to contribute with
funding of research covering several of the thematic areas.
Company benefits:
- Major influence on the research directions.
- Broad contact with the center facilitating technology transfer.
- Normally several research projects or cross-theme projects are conducted in cooperation with the center.
- A representative on the board of the center.
- Participation in LUCAS Architecture Academy with 6 representatives.
- All benefits of the Silver and Bronze levels
Silver
A company participating on the Silver level funds some percentage of a
Ph.D. student. The level of funding will reflect the influence over the
research conducted. The research is normally conducted within one thematic
area, although with strong contacts with other areas.
Company benefits:
- Research in a strategic area for the company is ensured.
- Very good visibility into the research of the center.
- Participation in LUCAS Architecture Academy with 2 representatives.
- Good future opportunities to recruit people with Ph.D.:s in the areas of the center.
- At least one of the companies on the Silver level will be represented on the board of the center. The representation on the board will rotate.
- All benefits of the Bronze level.
Bronze
A company on the Bronze level provide a minor funding to the research
center. The funding will be used for strategic future success areas in
software development.
Company benefits:
- Free access to seminars offered by the center.
- Free toaccess to the monthly LUCAS breakfast seminars
- Free access to the mini-tutorials provided by the center.
- Free access to the yearly LUCAS symposium.
- Point of contact with leading researchers in applied software research.
- Good visibility for potential future employees.
- Good basis for joint Master thesis projects.
